Plein Air Watercolour – Intensive
Explore Pointe-Saint-Charles and its surroundings along the canal. Capture a neighbourhood in transition, paint what you see from direct observation Expand your expressive watercolour skills. Artist-watercolourist, Louise Drouin will take you on a journey! Through demonstrations and practice you will learn how to approach a scene, focusing on good composition, contrast and rich colours.

Mixed-Media Watercolour Collage
Explore watercolour and collage techniques that stretch the imagination and encourage self-discovery. Learn the basic layering process using a variety of rice paper, natural, tinted and stained and adhering them to watercolour surfaces to provide a textured ground for painting. Create exciting surfaces, cut and tear shapes, use them as collage textures. Combine rice papers, watercolour, acrylic paint, inks, gouache and pastels to enhance your artwork.

Introduction to Watercolour
Explore expressive watercolour techniques that stretch the imagination. Be inspired from nature and the season. Paint a leaf, a flower, a branch, a rock, a seashell….Learn the basic techniques, wash and glaze, brush work, colour mixing.Everyone is welcome.
